National Youth Jazz Orchestra and the National Youth Chamber Choir of Great Britain at Southwark Cathedral July 1st 2015
In the glorious surroundings of Southwark Cathedral the politicians  nonsense of broken Britain was kicked firmly in the seat of the pants and into the Thames. The National Youth Jazz Orchestra and the National Youth Choir of Great Britain ably led by Mark Armstrong and Ben Parry produced an evening of memorable music of Duke Ellington, Vaughan Williams, Owain Park, Janet Wheeler with “Journeys End” by Pete Churchill, commissioned by the City of London Festival and Durham Brass Festival. Everyone played and sang their socks off.
