DESCRIPTION:Pete Allen\, who is an Honorary Citizen of New Orleans USA for ‘his services to British jazz and tourism’\, celebrates over 45 years leading his band and brings a seven-piece line-up of talented and much respected musicians to present an evening of entertaining happy jazz instrumentals and songs.\n\nThe line-up will be:- Pete Allen – Clarinet/Saxes; James Clemas (keyboard);  Chris Hodgkins – Trumpet; Roger Marks – Trombone;Trevor Whiting – Clarinet/Saxes; Jim Newton – Drums;Max Brittain – Banjo/Guitar; Dave Hanratty – Bass.\n\nThey will entertain with a variety of happy jazz and fun with musical tributes to many great jazz legends including Louis Armstrong\, Fats Waller\, Sidney Bechet\, Duke Ellington and Count Basie.\n\nIn Pete’s 45 years of leading a band\, which is some achievement\, his band has played hundreds of shows worldwide and made countless TV/Radio broadcasts. His show has something for everybody as it presents a variety showcase of happy foot-tapping music for all to enjoy so book yourself a seat for a swinging jazzy treat NOW as with a jazz pedigree of this calibre it should be quite a night!
